Gayview toilet block
This project forms part of Kirby Architects' ongoing partnership with Wodonga City Council to improve community facilities across the region.
The brief was to revitalise an existing public toilet block, improving its functionality, accessibility and overall user experience for the local community. Through a considered palette of colours and durable materials, the existing building was transformed into a welcoming, safe and easy-to-maintain public facility.
The upgrade included bringing the amenities into accessibility compliance, improving vandal resistance, and incorporating provisions for future upgrades, ensuring the facility will continue to serve the community for years to come.
