St Kilda House
This St Kilda heritage property had been split into two homes, leaving a Victorian residence with great bones but dark, disconnected spaces. In collaboration with interior designer Sarah Newbold, we transformed it into a Lifestage Design™ home, elegant, flexible, and seamless to the heritage features that first drew our clients.
The redesign works for every stage of life, whether an older couple, a young family, or teens on the move. The kitchen, living areas, outdoor entertaining, and service corridor were reimagined to open up the home, bring in light through new skylights, and connect with the outdoors. Bespoke joinery, bookcases, and carefully considered furniture and lighting highlight the home’s heritage character while creating a practical, beautiful space for everyday living. Clever floorplan adjustments meant we avoided major structural changes, allowing the family to remain in the home throughout the renovation.
