Mansfield Autism Statewide Services (MASS), Multi Activity Centre
The Multi-Purpose Activity Centre is a vibrant hub supporting daily dining at MASS alongside guest events. Designed to accommodate more than 60 seated guests, the facility includes a commercial kitchen and a dedicated wing for staff services, representing a significant step forward in the quality of amenities for both staff and visitors.
A key feature is the large semi-enclosed space that opens directly to the arena, expanding access to equine therapy for more children. Through “hippotherapy,” horses are integrated into physical, speech, and occupational therapy, helping therapists connect with patients on a deeply personal level. Children with autism particularly benefit from the motor, emotional, and sensory experiences that come with riding and interacting with horses.
