Hawksburn House
Our client loves their neighbourhood near Hawksburn Village but needed more space for family life. To maximise both social and play areas, we designed two outdoor courtyards linked through strong visual connections. The twin courtyards allow children to play safely in one area while adults entertain in the other, or relax in the second living space while keeping an eye on the kids across the central kitchen and dining zone. Large sliding doors connect the courtyards and indoor spaces, making the entire home seamlessly accessible from corner to corner.
The theme of visual connection continues inside, with highlight windows that fill the home with natural light and frame views of the sky. When our client requested space for house guests, we recommended a secondary living area that can comfortably accommodate visitors as needed. This solution provides greater flexibility and value than a dedicated guestroom, allowing the family to use the space year-round.
Light-filled, breezy, and enhanced with Lifestage Design™ features, the home is ready to grow with and adapt to evolving family lifestyles.
