Mansfield Autism Statewide Services, The Village
The Village comprises two large buildings located alongside the retreat cabins. These larger buildings offer a accommodation that is suitable for larger groups to stay, for duel famillies and for training of future Mansfield Autism Practicioners (MAP).
Added value and flexibility to the facility, the Village accommodation is designed to be adaptable to suit the needs of Emergency Service. For example in the event of bushfires in the High Country, the buildings could be used by fire fighters and support teams. A mud room has been integrated that allows storage of firefighters equipment and uniforms.

A $40m expansion plan on the rural outskirts of Mansfield, has been dubbed Operation Gamechanger. MASS has appointed Kirby Architects to design and deliver new facilities and expanded services, so MASS can support more families and cater for increasing demand for the benefits of being out at the farm for families affected by autism.
