Caulfield Deco
This renovation of a classic 1930s home started with a feasibility study, which revealed urgent underpinning and damp mitigation works were needed, which is not unusual in buildings of that era. Once the structure was made sound, every room has undergone a transformation or refresh that responds to the home’s deco features and to our client’s lifestyle and personality.
The new streamlined kitchen did away with awkward angles and introduced a concealed pantry, perfect for a self-confessed “messy cook” who loves entertaining and cooking for extended family. Sarah Newbold Interiors joined our team and selected soft furnishings that befit the art deco style of the interiors. Wonderful bold colours and signature furniture pieces complement the joinery, the client’s furniture, light fittings and finishes, bringing the whole house together.
