Barwon Health & Gateways Services Reception & Waiting Area Joint Upgrade
This joint upgrade for Barwon Health and Gateways Services reimagines the reception and waiting areas to be more welcoming, intuitive, and supportive for clients and staff.
Seating is designed to integrate subtle storage, while light timber screening allows for passive staff supervision without compromising privacy. These elements introduce warmth, natural light, and a calming, biophilic quality to the spaces.
Flooring is used to guide movement and improve wayfinding, and flexible bench seating accommodates wheelchairs while remaining easy to clean and adaptable to changing needs. Thoughtful additions such as device charging stations provide a small but meaningful layer of comfort for visitors.
