Howes Creek Homestead

Perched on a rise with magnificent 360-degree views, this large five-bedroom country home is equipped with both thermal efficiency and eye-catching composition. With natural timbers and texturally rendered brickwork inside and out, it balances stunning aesthetics with the functionality of climatic conditions. Our challenge was not only to create a beautiful home that could adapt for different families in the short and long term, but also to create an off-the-grid home that relies on construction rather than mechanical resources for year-round comfort. The outdoors are enjoyed without the flies on the screened-in verandahs, natural light streams into every room, and strategic views and window seats ingeniously blend the practical with bewitching style to epitomise Lifestage Design™.
